This Manufacture's history spans almost 130 years. They have greatly contributed to countless horological technologies that are instrumental to so many brands even today. Arguably, they invented the first chronograph wristwatch, the first chronograph featuring a split second function, the first chronograph with an hours counter, as well as many other "firsts." Frankly, I believe this industry wouldn't be where it is right now, in terms of how much progress has been made in an unbelievably short time, without Eberhard.
