At the second edition of the Hong Kong "Watches and Wonders" fair this fall, Audemars Piguet will unveil the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Tourbillon Chronograph. The Royal Oak Offshore was introduced in 1993, as a sportier, tougher alternative to the classic Genta-designed Royal Oak. Though the the Offshore was a massive (at the time) 42mm chronograph with the incorporation of rubber pushers and an iron-constructed inner cage, traits such as the octagonal case structure and integrated bracelet remained selfsame.
