EVENT: Inside Basel Geneva (IBG) Returns To New York
It's that time of fall when all of the excitement begins. Brands are giving an intimation as to what we should expect to see in 2015, boutiques are finally receiving the long-awaited watches from this past Baselworld and SIHH, and there's tons of news that I will be sharing with you as we near the new year.
What's a better way to start off this season than having a watch exhibition smack dab in the middle of the U.S.A's watch capital, where I hail from, New York City? With help from the great team of watch enthusiasts over at WatchTime, Inside Basel Geneva (or IBG) will bring the New York collector community an array of fine mechanical timepieces along with an evening of one on one interaction with prominent industry figures and highly-regarded watchmakers. If you don't get the chance to fly out to Switzerland for the larger watch shows, this is an excellent alternative. Plus, there are a few independent watch manufacturers at IBG who have brought along some serious horologial inventions definitely worth taking a look at.
