What’s New—JLC at SIHH

Jaeger LeCoultre has finally introduced the Duometre a Quantieme Lunaire with an Immaculate Grand Feu enamel dial. The movement features a plethora of complications. Including: your standard hours, minutes, and seconds, a calendar, and a moonphase. Their synchronization is ensured by the jumping seconds hand mechanism. This piece is probably as close to anyone can get to owning a chronometer—without actually owning a chronometer. Not only that, but JLC also added two 50 hour power reserves (a.k.a. the dual wing concept for all of the tech guys reading this). If you want a complicated watch that has the precision of a chronometer, I would recommend the new Duometre a Quantieme Lunaire by Jaeger LeCoultre.
