VIDEO: News from V and C

Vacheron Constantin, the watchmaker to the watchmakers, has come out with a minute repeater; the world’s thinnest minute repeater. The exact thickness is 8.9 millimeters.  That’s thinner than the watch on my wrist right now (and that’s an Omega Seamaster before they became actual diver’s watches). The 36 jewel movement is finely crafted in delicate 18 karat pink gold, and is, as always, in-house.  The Calibre: 1731, the birth year of Jean-Marc Vacheron. How nice is that? Well,  considering he was the founder of one of the most prestigious watch manufacturers around” I doubt it would’ve been much of a big deal to him. At least to me it would be! Anyway, you can read, and hear (the repeater), more at www.vacheronconstantin.com. One of these days, I’ll buy myself one… I hope so.
